Start of production at Russian plant is perfect birthday present for the ARaymond Network*
The official opening of the new ARaymond** production plant in Russia was a fitting gift to mark the 150th anniversary of the Network, one of the world’s leading suppliers of automotive connectors to car and truck manufacturers.
The ceremony took place in July and the very first component to come off the production line was made personally by the guest of honor, Antoine Raymond, CEO. The event was also attended by local and regional dignitaries.
The plant at Dzershinsk, a city 400km east of Moscow, will supply fastening and assembly solutions to manufacturers serving the growing Russian automotive market.
The building has been designed and constructed according to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the world’s most widely recognized rating system for sustainable, eco-friendly offices and factories. LEED certification is expected later this year.
